ReplyDeleteThe two characters that i'm going to describe are Kirsti and Peter Neilsen. Kirsti is a stuborn little girl { page 4}. She didn't like when the soldier touched her hair. She thinks shes a brave little girl because once she got home from when the soldiers stopped her and her sister she told her mom that she wasn't scared of the soldiers.[ page 6 ]
Peter Nielsen was Annamarie's sister's fiance. He is a nice and caring guy to Annamarie's family. He brought them newspaper that was illegal.[page 7]

ReplyDeleteKirsti: I think that Kirsti is an annoying little sister who talks a lot. Why? Well, on page 6, after the soldier experience, Kirsti went babbling to her mother about their encounter with soldiers. Anyway, Annemarie and Ellen were planning to keep their lips sealed. However, I got to admit, that Kirsti can get really nice at times because everybody has a soft spot. Also, Kirsti is not an athletic person because on page 2 she couldn't keep up with anyone.
Annemarie: Annemarie is a person who loves to show off her athletic skills while practicing. On page 1 she raced her friend Ellen for her athletic meet on Friday. Also, she is a nice person because of her friendship. Annemarie avoids trouble as much as possible because on page 3 and 4 she tried to get away from the soldiers.
That is what I thought.

ReplyDeleteThe first person is Annamarie she is very fast at running. She cares about others especially her friend Ellen. She doesn't want the germans to get her. SHe is also very scared because she thinks the germans will get her family.
The Peter is very caring because he brought presents for the girls. HE is also very nice because he is helping families hide from the germans. HE also brought annamaries parents a bottle of beer.

ReplyDeleteThe book has more than two characters, but the two main ones I want to talk about are Annamarie and Kirsti. Annamarie is a young girl who lived during World War II. She cares for Ellen and Kirsti because the Nazi soldiers are scarring Jewish people. She fits in like everyone else because the book said she was running and hanging out with her friends earlier in the book.
Another person is Kirsti. Kirsti is very brave because in the beginning of the book the Nazis stopped her, but she wasn't scared. I think she still fits in the world like every other kid because she is like every other sister, just a drag!

ReplyDeleteThe first person that I'm going to talk about is Annemarie. She is a young ten year old who is very athletic. On the first page of the book, it said that she was racing her friend Ellen. She cares for many people, especially Ellen. Lastly, Annemarie is frightened of the Germans because she doesn't want them to kidnap her or her family.
To add on, Kirsti is the next person I want to talk about. Kirsti is a stubborn little girl on page 4 she didn't like the soldiers touching her hair. Also, Kirsti is Annemarie's little sister. Although, she is not very athletic like Annemarie because on page 2, it stated that she couldn't keep up with Annemarie and Ellen when they were racing.

ReplyDeleteAnnemaria: Is the older sister and I think she can be a kind of rude to her little sister but only some times. She used to be the middle sister until Lise died. Ann is bossy when it comes to Kristi, her little sister.
Kristi: She is very annoying and over does the truth. Kristi is really rude to certain people. LIke her sister and the soliders she is very disrespectful som times.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Cassidy that Kirsti is an annoying little sister that seems to blabber on a lot. She is a typical young girl that seems to be quite a tattle tale. Like on pg.7 when Kirsti tells her mom about the soldier. Kirsti is a very independent little girl!
Ellen seems like she is a bit of a worry wort but not too much. She isnt too athletic because on pg.1 the author describes her as stocky and she says that her legs aren't as strong as Annemarie's. Ellen seems like an ordinary ten year old girl. She helps care for and watch over Kirsti with Annemarie.

ReplyDeletewell I do agree with cassidy and Nic that Kirsti is an annoying sister because in the beginning she says wait up which to me seems that she wants to be an annoying but she does feel afraid when the soldiers stop her sister.
Another character I want to bring up is Annemarie because she seems that she is a independant and fast person .But on page 4 her and her friend race and get caught by two German soldiers and one tall one she reconizes as the girafe.
