ReplyDeleteAnnnemarie was maybe braver than Prince Charming. She copied Kirsti by acting like a little girl. She had faced gigantic soldiers that were three times her size. Annemarie even went into a dark forest by herself with no flashlight. Just one deed from a small little girl can be a lot more than you expect.
Annemarie had to do this dangerous mission because her uncle had forgotten a special package. Anyhow, Annemarie didn't even know what the packet contained. She had ventured into the forest by herself immediately, and with no hesitations. Annemarie used her brain to act like Kirsti. She acted like a dumb little girl that was delivering a lunch to a foolish fisherman. Not only that, her plan succeeded.

ReplyDeleteOne time that she brave was when she was stopped by the soliders' and she had to act like a stupid little girl. Also she was very brave then because they actually took the package. That would have scare the bagebees out of me! To me this was the most brave she has ever been in the book. Many times she was brave but this one tops it for me.
(I didn't put page numbers because I lost my book and all I have is an audio book that only has chapters so I couldn't do the numbers :( sorry.)

ReplyDeleteShe shows her bravery by listening to what her mother told her to do and not be afraid of the soldiers. If she didn't listen to her mother than maybe Ellen and her family could've gotten killed by the soldiers if he needed the hankerchief that bad [pg.104]. If Annamarie was afraid of the soldiers she would've ran away from them when she saw them and the soldiers would be more suspicious.

ReplyDeleteWell, she is brave when the soldiers stopped her.I think it's because what her mom said to do which is to act retarded or what she really said was to act silly. While the soldiers were talking to her all she did was act silly and so the soldiers left her alone.Well, she mostly acted like Kirstie her sister.

ReplyDeleteAnnemarie shows her bravery in many unique ways. Well, first she was brave when she offered to take the basket to Uncle Henrik on his boat. She knew her life was at risk and she could die but, anyway she still did it for her best friend Ellen. (pg. 104) Another time she was brave is when she was stopped by the soldiers. She was brave then because she stood up to the soldiers. She could do this remembering of her sister, Kirsti. (pg.115) If she was not able to stand up to the soldiers her friend could get caught and get killed.

ReplyDeleteThroughout all of chapter 15, Annemarie has to be brave by putting on her best act to make sure the soldiers aren't suspicious. She acts like a silly little girl to keep the soldiers from finding Uncle Henrik's secret package. If she had not been so brave and deceitful, the soldiers would have found out about the stowaways on Henrik's ship. That would have been a big disaster! Annemarie demonstrated that braveness is not without fear, but instead, in spite of one's fear. As it says, she did have fears, but she ignored them for that moment to save the Rosens and all others aboard Henrik's boat. Because Annemarie stayed brave throughout this episode, she saved many. I hope that at some point in our lives we have the chance to be as brave as Annemarie was.

ReplyDeleteI think she is brave because when she came across the soldiers she did what her mom told her to do and that was act silly. If Anne acted like a confident girl they would ask her questions and possibly harm them. I think it's kind of weird that usually parents tell their kids to be confident and to not act silly. But in Anne's case, the silliness paid off and kept the soldiers away. In conclusion, it would be better to act silly.

ReplyDeleteAnnemarie is brave in many ways. She showed her bravery by standing up to the soldiers multiple times. She didn't show her fear, and didn't say anything that could risk her safety. She showed much bravery throughout chapter 15, she acted very responsible when her mother broke her ankle, she was brave enough to offer to take the basket to Uncle Henrik. Annemarie followed what her mother told her to do, act like a silly girl. The silliness soon paid off.
